Jay Feely says Tim Tebow is the 'single worst quarterback' he ever saw

Jim Rome's show on Showtime featured more than just Rome's hair growing out - NFL kicker Jay Feely was on as a guest and he had some thoughts on the Eagles' newest quarterback, Tim Tebow. Get this, though - his thoughts on the polarizing 27-year-old were not outwardly positive.

"I really respect the person, the man, the things that he believes in and the things he does off the field..."

Hmm, sounds like Feely is using compliments to give himself some breathing room to say something less than flattering.

"... he was the single worst quarterback I ever saw in my career in the NFL."

Yep.

Feely, a former member of the Chiefs, Dolphins, Bears, Falcons, Giants, Jets, and Cardinals went on to suggest that he and Rome could go out and complete more passes than Tebow, who he once witnessed throw 13 incompletes to an unguarded receiver during practice.

All of it continues to beg the question, "Why, Chip Kelly?" And Kelly's response continues to be, "[Intense silence]."
