It's official: Gardner starting for Birds
The Eagles' inactives contained no surprises. Andrew Gardner will start in place of Matt Tobin at right guard.
The Eagles' inactives are as expected -- QB Nick Foles,. DB Jaylen Watkins, OL Dennis Kelly and Julian Vandervelde, WR Jeff Maehl, CB Roc Carmichael and DE Taylor Hart.
The only real news is that Andrew Gardner will indeed start at right guard for Matt Tobin, who came back from a concussion during the week, but has struggled since moving from the left to the right side.
Since Watkins isn't active, the Eagles must feel comfortable with Chris Maragos and Chris Prosinski backing up starting safeties Nate Allen and Malcolm Jenkins. Prosinski joined the team Nov. 2.
