Eagles preparing for Packers quarterback Seneca Wallace

The Eagles are preparing for Seneca Wallace this weekend. With Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers unlikely to play against the Eagles on Sunday, the defensive game plan must be adjusted for Green Bay's backup.

"It doesn't seem like there's much uncertainty; it's kind of looking right now like Aaron won't be playing and we'll probably get Seneca or someone else they choose to sign," defensive coordinator Bill Davis.

Davis said the Packers played a fullback more frequently when Rodgers departed the Packers' 27-20 loss to Green Bay. With Rodgers, they play more three-wide receiver sets. Davis didn't know if that was part of their game plan for the Bears, but it's something the Eagles will prepare for this week.

"You always have a plan of their passing attack," Davis said. "You don't know what's coming at you. Could be three wides the whole game like they do more with Aaron, or it could be more fullback, like they did last night. You prepare for all of it, but you major in certain different things. So we would have majored in one plan with Aaron Rodgers, and now we'll adjust."

Defensive lineman Cedric Thornton did not appear to be practicing. It could be a maintenance day for his knee injury.

Cornerback Bradley Fletcher and tackle Jason Peters were both in pads, but their participation in Tuesday's practice is unknown. Both have pectoral injuries.

Linebacker Jake Knott appears to be doing more work than the previous two weeks, when he was out with a with a hamstring injury.
