There have been a lot of new mock NFL drafts posted across the internet over the last few days. Here is a roundup of guesses by people regarding what player the Eagles might pick at No. 14 of the first round.
Mel Kiper, ESPN: CB Gareon Conley, Ohio State
Conley, the third member of the Ohio State secondary to be picked so far, is rising after the combine, where he ran a 4.44 40 with a 37.5-inch vertical at 6-0, 195. Defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz needs a new No. 1 corner, and this is a great fit.
Will Brinson, CBS Sports: RB Christian McCaffrey, Stanford
Anyone who acts like McCaffrey can't be a feature back is just being dumb when it comes to how the game works in 2017. Darren Sproles has been a game-changer for this team for the past few years in multiple phases; McCaffrey will be the perfect addition to help Carson Wentz grow and replace Sproles.
Bucky Brooks, NFL.com: CB Teez Tabor, Florida
The Eagles need a long, rangy corner to thrive as a CB1 in Jim Schwartz's system.
Dieter Kurtenbach, Fox Sports: DE Derek Barnett, Tennessee
The Eagles need a cornerback in a big way, but their need on the defensive line looms larger in the moment. Philadelphia can wait on a cornerback - there's a ton in this class. They can't wait on replacing Connor Barwin.
R.J. White, CBS Sports: CB Gareon Conley, Ohio State:
He has the versatility to help outside or in the slot and can handle almost any scheme. While he doesn't have the upside of a [Marshon] Lattimore or [Marlon] Humphrey, the Eagles should be happy finding a starter-worthy option at a position where they have none.
Gary Davenport, Bleacher Report: CB Marlon Humphrey, Alabama
He sometimes relies too much on his athletic gifts and allows his technique to be spotty, which occasionally left him open to big plays in Tuscaloosa. But his are flaws that can be coached up. What can't be taught is his size, 4.4 speed and willingness (even eagerness) to drop a shoulder and punish backs or receivers.
Jacob Infante, Cover32/Yahoo! Sports: RB Christian McCaffrey, Stanford
With the recent decline in Dalvin Cook's draft stock, McCaffrey has become the No. 2 running back for a lot of people. He dominated the Combine with his fantastic speed and overall agility. These are apparent in his game tape, too. He has incredible vision, burst and elusiveness.
Rob Rang, CBS Sports/The Sports Xchange: CB Chidobe Awuzie, Colorado
For whatever reason Awuzie has not generated as much national attention as some of his peers at cornerback, but some scouts believe he is the safest of this year's class, standing out on tape due to his quickness, anticipation and toughness, including in run support.
Ryan Kartje, Los Angeles Daily News: CB Marlon Humphrey, Alabama
Tempted to put Christian McCaffrey here, but the Eagles desperately need help at cornerback, and in a deep class, they'll get their pick of the group here. Humphrey has prototype size and long arms, and he plays a physical style that could set him apart among the top corners.
