Eagles bring back WR Nick Miller; place Maclin on IR

The Eagles brought back wide receiver Nick Miller, two weeks after they released him, and placed wide receiver Jeremy Maclin on season-ending Injured Reserve on Tuesday.

The Eagles brought back wide receiver Nick Miller, two weeks after they released him, and placed wide receiver Jeremy Maclin on season-ending Injured Reserve on Tuesday.

Maclin torn the ACL in his right knee on Saturday.

Miller, who was originally signed in the off-season, takes Maclin's spot on the 90-man roster. The 5-foot-9, 180-pound receiver played in Oakland from 2009-2011 and played in six games for the Rams in 2011. He was mostly used on special teams during his first three years in the NFL.

He was out of the league last season.

Maclin joins linebacker Jason Phillips on IR. Phillips tore the ACL in his right knee on Monday.
