Eagles bag another: Former Bills LB Nigel Bradham

The Eagles and former Bills linebacker Nigel Bradham agreed to terms on a two-year contract, a NFL source told The Inquirer.

Bradham played four seasons in Buffalo -- his best coming in 2014 when he played strong-side linebacker in Jim Schwartz' 4-3 scheme. The 26-year old struggled last season with the move to a 3-4, but the Eagles are obviously hoping he returns to form now that he's being reunited with Schwartz.

The Eagles had a vacancy at linebacker after Kiko Alonso was dealt to the Dolphins. He was likely penciled in to play strong-side. The 6-foot-2, 241-pound Bradham will likely fill that spot and be responsible for mostly playing the tight end-side of the field. Jordan Hicks and Mychal Kendricks are the Eagles' likely middle and weak-side linebackers.

Bradham recorded a career-high 104 tackles, 2-1/2 sacks, six passes defensed and an interception in 14 games in 2014. He had 59 tackles and one sack in 11 games last season.
