Eagles' Dorial Green-Beckham injures oblique, expected to play vs. Washington

Eagles wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham suffered an oblique contusion in the 32-14 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals yesterday and is expected to play Sunday against the Washington Redskins.

"It's going to be pretty sore for him," coach Doug Pederson said. "We'll hold him out of practice actually on Wednesday this week, but right now, he should be OK for the game."

The offense also will get a boost from the return of wide receiver Jordan Matthews and running back Ryan Mathews. Both players will practice this week. Matthews missed Sunday's game because of a sprained ankle, and Mathews has been absent for two games with a sprained MCL.

The Eagles are still waiting on the recovery of right tackle Halapoulivaati Vaitai (knee), who is still not able to practice. Vaitai's rehab program will accelerate this week.
