Taylor Hart inactive for Eagles; C.J. Smith to make NFL debut

ARLINGTON, Texas -- Taylor Hart is inactive for Sunday night's game against the Dallas Cowboys, leaving the Eagles with only three active defensive tackles against the NFL's top-ranked rushing offense.

Hart, claimed off waivers last week, suffered an ankle injury Thursday at practice and was listed as questionable for the game. He joins starting defensive tackle Bennie Logan on the inactive list; Logan was declared out on Friday because of a groin injury. Fletcher Cox, Beau Allen, and Destiny Vaeao are the defensive tackles for the Eagles on Sunday.

The other inactives are wide receiver Bryce Treggs, linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill, and offensive linemen Josh Andrews, Dillon Gordon, and Isaac Seumalo.

Cornerback C.J. Smith is active and will make his debut for the Eagles on Sunday. The rookie cornerback is playing his first NFL game since earning a promotion from the practice squad earlier this season. The Eagles also have safety Terrence Brooks in uniform, giving them an extra defensive back.
