50 potential Eagles draft targets from round 1 to round 7

After months of waiting, draft day is finally here!

And so... Here are 50 prospects from round 1 to round 7 who could be attractive targets for the Eagles.

Trade-up options

• Anthony Barr: Barr may be the only player worth trading up for. He's 6'5, 255, and has very impressive athletic ability, but he's raw. You might not see immediate results, but Trent Cole buys you a year for a potentially elite pass rusher to grow.

The Eagles have been rumored to move up to take a WR. In what is considered the deepest WR draft possibly ever, it seems like a horrible use of resources to use a bunch of picks to draft one WR.

Options at 22 (in order of likelihood)

• Marqise Lee, WR, USC: Highly competitive, highly skilled WR who can run after the catch, and get off jams at the line of scrimmage. Lee lit up Oregon twice when Chip Kelly faced USC in 2011 and 2012.

• Brandin Cooks, WR, Oregon State: Speed demon (4.33 40) with incredible production (128-1730-16) his final season at Oregon State.

• Bradley Roby, CB, Ohio State: Very athletic CB with a physical edge. Eagles would have to be comfortable with his off the field issues, but Roby is a CB who fits what the Eagles look for, and will likely be available at 22.

• Kyle Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech: Versatile and physical CB who can also play some safety.

• Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, S, Alabama: Unlikely to fall to the Eagles at 22, but Clinton-Dix has very good range with good cover skills and ball skills, and would sure up a weak position on the Eagles defense.

• C.J. Mosley, LB, Alabama: The only way he falls to the Eagles at 22 is if teams are concerned about his medical issues. Here's some perspective from a doctor who was formerly in the Chargers' war room.

Trade-back options

The following are players who could be available somewhere after 22 , but likely won't still be there when the Eagles pick at 54. These players fall in the "trade-back range."

• Cody Latimer, WR, Indiana: Violent WR with impressive  size/speed measurables.

• Marcus Smith, OLB, Louisville: Played a variety of spots in Louisville's defense, who has the athletic ability to play 3-4 OLB in the Eagles' defensive scheme.

• Jeremiah Attaochu, OLB, Georgia Tech: Physically gifted pass rusher, but raw. Doesn't have a polished repertoire of pass rush moves, but could be groomed under Trent Cole for a year.

• Ra'Shede Hageman, DT, Minnesota: 6'6, 310 pound monster with athleticism who fits the "bigger people" mold. Likely at DE in the Eagles' defense.

• Kelvin Benjamin, WR, Florida State: Huge WR (6'5, 240), but lacks speed, quickness.

• Austin Seferian-Jenkins, TE, Washington: Not a need, but a huge TE target (6'5, 262) with impressive speed (4.56 40).

2nd round pick possibilities

• Lamarcus Joyner, S, Florida State: Big hitter with excellent instincts, who consistently makes huge plays. Small (5'8, 184).

• Carlos Hyde, RB, Ohio State: There isn't a position of lesser immediate need for the Eagles than RB, but it's something to watch. LeSean McCoy is set to count for just under $12 million on the cap in 2015, and led the NFL in touches last season. Hyde is a between the tackles banger.

• Deone Bucannon, S, Washington State: Enforcer on the back end.

• Kyle Van Noy, LB, BYU:  Jack of all trades in the mold of Connor Barwin, but likely at the ILB spot in the Eagles' 3-4 scheme.

• Jarvis Landry, WR, LSU: Terrible Combine numbers, but good production at LSU. Great hands, great route-runner, and a Day 1 special teams contributor. Think Hines Ward.

• Troy Niklas, TE, Notre Dame: Big TE (6'6, 270) who is already a great blocker with the athleticism to grow as a legitimate receiving threat.

• Martavis Bryant, WR, Clemson: Big WR (6'4, 211) with 4.42 speed. Raw.

• Pierre Desir, CB, Lindenwood: Long CB at 6'1, 198, with 33" arms who could excel in press coverage.

3rd round pick possibilities

• Christian Jones, ILB, Florida State: Versatile ILB with good size who can run, cover, and get after the passer.

• Will Clarke, DE/OLB, West Virginia: Huge build (6'6, 271) with potential to play outside in 3-4.

• Bashaud Breeland, CB, Clemson: Physical press corner that Eagles seem to favor.

• Jaylen Watkins: Senior Bowl standout who played CB and S at Florida. Versatile.

• Jordan Tripp, ILB, Montana: Impressive Combine performance. Good speed, but occasionally out of control.

• Telvin Smith, ILB, Florida State: Odd player. Undersized at 6'3, 218, but does things well you wouldn't expect him to do well (sheds blocks, makes physical tackles), and needs work in areas you would expect a smaller LB to excel (coverage).

• Bruce Ellington, WR, South Carolina: Starting point guard since his freshman year on South Carolina's basketball team. Highly athletic player with major upside, but smallish RB build at 5'9, 197.

• Jordan Zumwalt, ILB, UCLA: Intense player, big hitter.

• Brent Urban, DE, Virginia: Big (6'7, 295) batted pass machine with pass rush skills.

• Trevor Reilly, OLB, Utah: Good size, does everything well (covers, rush the passer, plays the run), not elite at any one thing. "Danny Watkins All-Star" (26 years old).

4th round pick possibilities

• Spencer Long, OG, Nebraska: Good run blocker, high character guy.

• Ronald Powell, OLB, Florida: Former #1 overall high school recruit. Great athlete, but would have to bulk up from 237 pounds to be 3-4 OLB.

• Antone Exum, CB/S, Virginia Tech: Highly thought of prospect to begin the season. Versatile DB who battled through some injuries in 2013.

• Robert Herron, WR, Wyoming: Lightning quick but small (5'9, 193) WR who runs great routes and could be a handful in space in Chip Kelly's offense.

• Jerick McKinnon, RB, Georgia Southern: Destroyed the Combine. QB convert and tough runner with excellent measurables. Thought to be raw, but looked polished in more difficult things like pass protection at Senior Bowl.

• Dontae Johnson, CB, North Carolina State: 6'2, 200 CB who was asked to play off coverage at NC State, but could excel in press coverage at next level.

• Dion Bailey, S, USC: Played OLB and S at USC. 9 INTs last two seasons.

5th round pick possibilities

• Aaron Colvin, CB, Oklahoma: Thought to be a solid 2nd round pick before tearing his ACL at the Senior Bowl. He'd have to sit a year, but depending on the severity of his ACL tear, could be a value play for 2015 and beyond.

• Brandon Thomas, OT/OG, Clemson: Same situation as Colvin. Tore ACL while working out for the Saints. Value play for 2015.

• Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, OT/OG, McGill: Developmental, undersized (6'5, 298) project from Canada, but very athletic for an offensive lineman.

• Crockett Gillmore, TE, Colorado State: Big play TE who had a reception of 20+ yards in 8 of Colorado State's 14 games.

• Kevin Pierre-Louis, LB, Boston College: Undersized at 6'0, 232, but ultra-athletic.

• Adrian Hubbard, OLB, Alabama: Lacking production, but has great size at 6'6, 257.

• Taylor Hart, DE, Oregon: Played under Chip Kelly and Jerry Azzinaro at Oregon. Good size, and the Eagles brought him in, likely for a medical check.

7th round pick possibilities

• Rob Blanchflower, TE, UMass: Hampered by injuries and an awful offense at UMass. Tenacious blocker, upside as pass catcher.

• Storm Johnson, RB, UCF: 5.3 YPC, 14 TDs his final year at UCF.

• Zach Kerr, DT, Delaware: Depth at NT.

• A.C. Leonard, TE, Tennessee State: Transferred to Tennessee State from Florida. Ran a blazing 4.50 40. Character risk.

• Wesley Johnson, OG/C, Vanderbilt: Versatile interior offensive lineman.
