St. Joseph’s Prep’s Chris Clover became the second Catholic League basketball player in two days to pledge to St. Joseph's when he orally committed on Sunday afternoon.

The 6-foot-4 guard was being heavily recruited by the other Big 5 schools. He led the Prep last season with 21.9 points per game. He will be a senior this season. He excelled this summer on the AAU circuit with Philly Pride.

Clover’s decision comes a day after Neumann-Goretti point guard Lamarr Kimble committed to St. Joe’s. The 6-foot Kimble will also be a senior in the fall.
