Penn State completed its 2015 football schedule Wednesday by announcing that Army will visit Beaver Stadium on Oct. 3.

The Nittany Lions and the Black Knights last played in 1979, with Penn State capturing a 24-3 victory to extend its lead in the series to 13-10-2.

Wednesday’s announcement now completes Penn State’s schedules from next season through 2017. Next year, the Nittany Lions open their season on Sept. 5 against Temple at Lincoln Financial Field, then play their next five games at Beaver Stadium.
