At least five former Temple football players will work out with NFL teams in upcoming rookie mini camps after going undrafted this weekend.
Running back Montel Harris (Tampa Bay Buccaneers), defensive end John Youtboty (Denver Broncos), kicker Brandon McManus (Indianapolis Colts) and offensive tackle Martin Wallace (Cleveland Browns) have signed free-agent contracts.
Running back Matt Brown will participate in mini camps with the Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs, but he did not sign a free-agent deal.
Harris had 196 carries for 1,054 yards and 12 touchdowns in 2012, his lone season at Temple. The Boston College transfer's average of 105.4 rushing yards per game led the Big East. The first-team all-Big East selection rushed for school and conference single-game records of 351 rushing yards and seven touchdowns against Army on Nov. 17.
