This coming Saturday is one of the most anticipated dates on the Philadelphia college basketball calendar, as the Palestra finally gets to host ESPN's College GameDay.

The show will precede a twinbill on 33rd Street, as La Salle faces Temple and Penn faces Saint Joseph's.

Both games have some tickets left, but not many. For the first, call Temple's sales office at 215-204-8499. If you can't get through, I was told that there might be a few tickets left on gameday at the Palestra box office. For the second, go through Penn's website.

Unfortunately, if you don't have a ticket to La Salle-Temple, you won't be able to get in the building to watch GameDay. Because of the the noon tipoff, there won't be any time between the show and the game.

For those of you who do have tickets, the Palestra will open at 8:00 a.m. There will be some live hits for SportsCenter starting at 9 a.m., then two hours of shows: ESPNU at 10:00 a.m. and ESPN at 11:00 a.m. ESPN2 will have the game broadcast, with John Saunders and former La Salle star Tim Legler on the call.

If there's more information to pass along about fan stuff Saturday, I'll add it here.
