Expect former Sixers general manager Ed Stefanski to be named to a front office position with the Toronto Raptors tomorrow, according to the Toronto Sun.

Stefanski is expected to provide another voice as executive vice president of basketball operations.

According to reports, Stefanski will work under team president of basketball operations Brian Colangelo, who ran the hiring process, which dates back to mid-summer.

The setup is similar to the situation that the Sixers used last season with Rod Thorn as team president and Stefanski as general manager.

Stefanski was let go by the new ownership group of the Sixers last week. The new owners viewed Stefanski and Thorn as doing similar jobs.
