Sixers shake starting lineup

Thad Young and Lou Williams go to the bench, while Jrue Holiday and Elton Brand get starts.

Before tonight's game against the Dallas Mavericks, Sixers coach Eddi Jordan was asked if there might be a change in his starting lineup, specifically with Elton Brand getting back into it. Jordan said all things are discussed, but gave no clue that the move was imminent.

The move, in fact, was just moments away. Jordan started Brand for Thad Young at the forward spot and inserted rookie Jrue Holiday for Lou Williams at the lead guard spot. Jordan, who recently shortened his rotation, was subbing freely in the first half as eight different players scored in the first quarter and forward Jason Kapono saw his first action in seven games.
