Sixers Add To Summer League Roster

The 76ers have added Ndudi Ebi, Trent Plaisted, Ryan Brooks and Jason Love to their Orlando summer league roster.

The 76ers, filling out their Orlando summer league roster, have added Ndudi (Indy) Ebi, a former first-round draft choice of the Minnesota Timberwolves; Trent Plaisted, a 6-11 second-round pick of the then-Seattle SuperSonics in 2008; Xavier's Jason Love, a 6-9 forward from Xavier via Abington Friends, and Temple's Ryan Brooks, among others.

The Sixers confirmed those additions to a group that will be led by first-round draft choice Evan Turner, second-year guards Jrue Holiday and Jodie Meeks, and third-year big man Marreese Speights.

The 6-9 Ebi was the No. 26 selection in 2003, directly out of a Texas high school. He logged time in the NBA Development League, but appeared in just 19 NBA games over two seasons before being released. Most recently, he has played in Israel and Italy.

Plaisted was the No. 46 pick in '08, and has most recently played in Italy.

Brooks apparently earned his invitation after two predraft workouts with the Sixers.

Love averaged 11.8 points as an Xavier senior.

The Sixers will travel to Orlando for workouts Friday and Sunday and then begin their five-game schedule against New Jersey on Monday at 7 p.m.

The website ''Ridiculous Upside'' indicates that La Salle's Rodney Green and Rider's Ryan Thompson will play for Boston in Orlando, while Duke's Brian Zoubek will join the New Jersey Nets. The site also lists Germantown Academy's Ryan Ayers as a member of the Los Angeles Clippers' team in the Las Vegas summer league.

Earlier, the Phoenix Suns announced that Villanova's Scottie Reynolds will play for them in Las Vegas.
