Sixers visit winless Utah Jazz tonight

The Sixers visit the Utah Jazz tonight, looking for their second-straight win.

Game three of the five game road trip tonight when the Sixers play the Utah Jazz, losers of both of their games this season.

At the morning shootaround at Energy Solutions Arena, coach Doug Collins talked of how his team is going to have to find a way to stop the inside game of the Jazz particularly Al Jefferson and Paul Milsap.

"He has really expanded his range, he can shoot the ball," said Collins of Jefferson. "He'll step you off the block and he can make the jump shot. He can shoot a jump hook out to about 15 feet, so you have to be aware of that. He's got a great up-and-under move.

"Tonight is going to be a battle of the paint. This team will pound you in the paint and get to the free throw line. They're going to start Milsap, who has been playing very, very well for them. So they've got two guys inside who can score and get to the free throw line."

This will be the home opener for Utah, which lost to the Lakers by 25 and to the Denver Nuggets by 17. The Jazz has been hindered by poor shooting as they're just under 40 percent from the floor after the two games.

The Sixers are coming off an impressive win in Phoenix and everyone appears to be healthy. Jrue Holiday banged his knee on the court towards the end of the Phoenix game, but both he and Collins said is fine and ready to go. Spencer Hawes is nursing a sore left knee after he buckled it in practice on Christmas night, but he also says there's no problem there.

"Not time to go home, yet," shouted Elton Brand at the end of the shootaround. "We've got to pick up some more W's."
