Nocioni's Timetable Indefinite
The 76ers' Andres Nocioni has a lateral sprain of his left ankle.
Andres Nocioni, the 76ers' Argentinian forward, has been diagnosed with a lateral sprain of his left ankle.
That was determined today after Dr. Dave Rubenstein of Mainline Health Services examined Nocioni's magnetic resonance imaging report.
There is no timetable for Nocioni to return to the Argentinian National Team, which is training for the World Championships in Turkey beginning August 28.
Nocioni was injured last Friday, but the medical reports did not reach the Sixers until today.
