Markieff Morris highlights next Sixers workouts

The Sixers will resume draft workouts Wednesday, with local product Markieff Morris among the highlights.

The other players coming in are Tyler Honeycutt (UCLA), Antonio Pena (Villanova), Eniel Polynice (Seton Hall) and Xavier Silas (Northern Illinois).

Morris, the 6-9 power forward, from Prep Charter and Apex, is projected as being selected in the middle of the first round.

Honeycutt, a 6-8 small forward, is projected as a late first-round draft pick and entered the draft after two seasons at UCLA. He averaged 12.8 points and 5.7 rebounds last season.

Polynice, a 6-6 shooting guard, finished his career with one season at Seton Hall after transferring from Mississippi. He averaged nearly 4 points and 3 rebounds as a senior.

Silas is a 6-4 shooting guard. He averaged 22.3 points per game as a senior but is projected as a free agent.

Pena makes a return to help the Sixers fill out the group.
