Lou Williams approached by gunman

While stopped in his car in Manayunk on Christmas Eve, Sixers guard Lou Williams was approached by a man with a gun. The situation was deflated when the gunman recognized Williams and commended him for his work in the community. Williams said he treated the man to a meal at a local fast food restaurant by giving him some money.
"A guy tried to rob me but decided not to because of whatever I do in the community," said Williams. "He's a Lou Williams fan, so he didn't rob me."
Williams said he was driving in his car when the man approached, knocked on the driver's window and had a gun drawn.
"There's crime everywhere," said Williams. "I was debating whether to pull off to help the guy. The gun was already out. He did all the talking, and we came up with a solution before i could really say much. I treated him to McDonald's."
The Sixers practiced on December 23, had off the next day then flew to Portland on Christmas for Monday's season-opener with the Trail Blazers. Williams pretty much brushed off the incident as he talked in the Sixers' locker room prior to the game.
SO SAD THANK GOD NO ONE WAS HURT NEXT TIME DON'T FEED HIM ALERT POLICE AND GET THIS PERSON WHO COULD PULL A GUN ON ANY ONE OFF THE STREET BECAUSE NEXT TIME SOME ONE COULD GET HURT GOD BLESS YOU LOU AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK MS ANGELA
Do they drug test members of the Sixers PR team? There is so much about this story that strains credulity. A criminal notices who Lou Williams is?? Unlikely, but maybe. The criminal halts his crime act against someone he knew to be a millionaire because of the good Lou Willimas does in the community?!? Lou Williams risks his life to offer a charitable meal to a criminal who moments before had a gun pointed his way? Are the police investigating this? How about a description of the perp from Lou? Complete nonsense. Repubrebirth

There is a Mcdonalds in the Andorra shopping center - Roxboro really. Or up on City Line Ave. So, either Lou gave the guy a ride, or it was a different neighborhood that Lou should NOT have been in (and said Manyunk) or this story is complete B.S. Justicek
