Jameer Nelson out vs. Sixers
Orlando guard Jameer Nelson will not play Monday night against the 76ers.
Nelson, the Chester High and Saint Joseph's product, has concussion-like symptoms after being hit in the head twice during Friday night's loss to New Orleans, coach Stan Van Gundy told reporters before the Magic's game Sunday night against Indiana.
Nelson is suffering from nausea and is not at the arena in Orlando for Sunday's game and won't travel with the team to Philadelphia.
Chris Duhon will start at point guard and be backed up by Larry Hughes, a former Sixers first-round draft pick.

Ah, Larry Hughes...the same Larry Hughes that Larry Brown chose instead of PAUL PIERCE. bearsfriend
Larry Hughes? Bad enough that we just saw Jerry Stackhouse in a game at Wells Fargo. Bringing back bad memories. Sixers should take Orlando, a team struggling, lacking depth, and playing the second game of a road back to back. chuckw
In the past week including tomorrow, we will have seen and will see Eduardo Najarado, Ben Wallace, and now Larry Hughes. How do these guys stay in the league? mjc1
mjc1: good agents! chuckw
I remember Larry Hughes instead of Paul Pierce. I think Larry Brown wanted a big guard to play with Allen Iverson. He'll probably have the game of his life... fillyfan
Sixers must defend the 3 point shot vs. Orlando who takes a ton of them. I hope Hawes will return for tomorrow's game and can give the team some minutes against Howard. Lavoy Allen has been challenging shots and doing a fine job on defense. He'll see regular minutes now as Collins loves that defense. bradco
