Iguodala out tonight vs. Orlando

Sixers forward Andre Iguodala will not play tonight against the Orlando Magic in order to rest his sore right knee.

Iguodala has been playing through the pain for some time since being diagnosed with right knee chondromalacia in mid-March.

Coach Doug Collins will start rookie Evan Turner.

After Friday night's win against the Toronto Raptors, Iguodala claimed the knee was feeling sore, and Collins decided he would shut him down for tonight's game and possibly even Wednesday's season finale at home against the Detroit Pistons.

Also, guard Lou Williams took part in this morning's shootaround as he recovers from a strained hamstring. He will not play tonight.

The Sixers trail the Knicks by one game for the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference with two games to play.

As for Orlando, J.J. Redick (lower abdominal strain) and Quentin Richardson (NBA suspension) are out.

It will be interesting to see how much time Dwight Howard gets. Howard did not play Saturday because of a suspension and coach Stan Van Gundy told the Orlando Sentinel that he does not plan to limit Howard's minutes over the final two games.
