Sixers surprise Spencer Hawes said he will be in the lineup for tonight's home game against the Indiana Pacers.
Hawes strained his back against Toronto on Saturday night and was limited to 17 minutes. He sat on the bench wearing a big heating pad.
Hawes said at today's shootaround that he had a massage and did some yoga yesterday and that he "feels good."
Hawes entered Saturday's game leading the league in field goal percentage to go with four double-doubles in the first six games.
The Sixers (5-2) face a tough test against Indiana (6-2). The Pacers have held five of their eight opponents to less than 40 percent shooting from the field.
