Eric Snow to join Sixers broadcast team

Former 76er guard Eric Snow will be the new analyst for Sixer games on Comcast SportsNet, the station announced tonight.

Snow replaces Ed Pinckney, who left the microphone behind to become an assistant coach with the Chicago Bulls.

Snow will be the third analyst in three years to team with play-by-play man Marc Zumoff since longtime analyst Steve Mix was let go.

"I'm very happy and excited to be re-joining the Sixers family as a part of their broadcast team," said Snow. "I spent my best and most enthusiastic years of my NBA career with this organization and its fans and I truly feel honored and blessed to have been given this opportunity to return."

Snow played 13 years in the NBA, including seven with the Sixers. He was the starting point guard alongside Allen Iverson when the team made it to the NBA Finals in 2001.
