Elton Brand back with team after seeing sick son
Elton Brand's son, who is three, had an allergic reaction to a dairy product and was rushed to the hospital.
Sixer forward Elton Brand left the team after their win in Phoenix on Wednesday night to be with his son, who was in a Los Angeles hospital after having an allergic reaction to a dairy product.
Brand's son had to be rushed to the hospital, but was treated and is doing well now, Brand said. At this morning's shootaround, an obviously relieved Brand said that everything was going well and that his son is feeling fine.
Brand will be in the starting lineup when the Sixers face the 0-2 Utah Jazz tonight.
