Brand, Young expected to play tonight

POSTED: Friday, April 1, 2011, 12:50 PM

Elton Brand has the flu but attended this morning's shootaround and is expected to play tonight against the Nets.

Thaddeus Young, who suffered a right adductor strain against Chicago on Monday night, also is expected to play. Young told reporters he the injury feels "much better."

Young scored 22 points in 33-plus minutes off the bench Wednesday against Houston.

Also, coach Doug Collins said he had "no preference" as to which teams the Sixers play in the first round and is more concerned about his team playing good basketball down the stretch.

Get to the WF Arena tonight. This team deserves our support. Loud fans can help them win. As Doug readies his team for the playoffs, fans should ready themselves for the home playoff games by coming out in droves for the remainder of the season,
