Think you can earn a spot with the Erie BayHawks in the NBA Development League?

Here's your chance to try out for the "D'' League affiliate of the 76ers and the Cleveland Cavaliers. But it's going to cost you. Like $150--cash, money order or certified/cashiers check, but NO credit cards, NO personal checks.

The place: Life Center Fitness, 2045 Columbus Boulevard, Burlington, N.J.

The dates: Oct. 18 and 19.

The times: 11:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Oct. 18; 8:30 a.m., Oct. 19.

How to register: Go to www.ErieBayHawks.com for forms. You can mail the forms and payment by Oct. 16 to Erie BayHawks Tryouts, 110 E. 8th St., Erie, Pa., 16501, or you can register and pay at the door.

Bring you sneakers. And your ''j.''
