76ers center Andrew Bynum underwent arthroscopic surgery on both knees Tuesday, the team announced.
Bynum is scheduled to begin physical therapy on March 22 and will remain on crutches for six weeks.
The Sixers announced Monday the surgery would occur and it would end any chance Bynum had to play this season.
More to come.

@691 -- At least they'd sell some tickets for that game!! Sixers are probably hoping that he stays in the division ... More $$$. Next time I get a call about Sixers season tickets, I am going to ask if I can get insurance ... Copper34
Can you imagine the reaction if he signs with another team next year 'looks healthy' and comes into philly to play? Might be in his best interest to get sick that night and not make the game. Tripod691
Most of you call out of work when you have a sniffle and you cry about a guy who can't play with chronic knee issues...his contract was signed and he didn't ask to be traded so he gets paid and his employer was covered with insurance. Your complaints are flamed by a radio station and you can't even see that...I am sad for you and your children who get your genes Friend to All- You,friend, are a true fool to be on the Bynum bandwagon. Hope you literally follow him to his next destination, savor his excuses there too.

Hmmm, no mention that he underwent "successful knew surgery". The fans would be the last to know, anyway. DelawareRiverRat
Hope Bynum recovers and is able to play next season and in A SIXERS uni, cause when he's right, he's one of the few truly difference makers Anguilla Al
