Oscar De La Hoya: Fishnet photos are real

Oscar De La Hoya admits 2007 photos of him dressed in women's lingerie were real, talks about cheating on his wife and his cocaine problem.

Those seedy photos of Oscar De La Hoya decked out in high heels, fishnet stockings, panties and other fineries female which dominated the tabloids for weeks in 2007, really are real, the boxer finally admits after four years of denials.

"Let me to tell you, yes, yes, it was me" in the photos, Oscar says in an interview with Teresa Rodriguez  on the Univision cable show Aquí y Ahora. "I am tired now of lying, of lying to the public and of lying to myself."

Oscar posed for the pics in 2007 while partying with New York City stripper Milana Dravnel in a Philly hotel room.

His reps had held that the photos were doctored and accused an unknown evildoer of cutting and pasting Oscar's head on the photo of a transvestite man's body.

The New York Post says Oscar bought Dravnel's silence for a whopping $20 million.

His wife, his drugs

In the same interview Oscar reveals that he is a recovering alcoholic and drug addict. He also says that he has cheated on his wife of ten years, Puerto Rican singer and actor Millie Corretjer.

("We are obviously not talking Tiger Woods here, but I was unfaithful," Oscar says.)

Then there was the substance abuse.

"There were drugs, my drug of choice was cocaine and alcohol," Oscar says. "Cocaine was recent. The last 2 years, last 2-and-a-half years and I depended more on the alcohol than the cocaine."

Oscar, who recently completed a stint at rehab, says he has been sober for three months. Before seeking help, he adds, he contemplated suicide, but didn't have "the strength" and "courage" to do it.

Earlier today, he tweeted this message: "@OscarDeLaHoya  And now it's time to make amends with the people who really love me and care for me.it's never too late we can do it.god bless."
