Kathy Griffin: 'Bachmann is Cuck-oo'

D-list maven Kathy Griffin launched a nuclear attack on U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minnesota) on Conan O'Brien's chat show last night.

Bachmann, Griffin said, is "Cuck-oo! Woo-oo. ... "She's a comedian's dream."

Griffin said she once asked the GOP presidential hopeful if she would support a law repealing the military's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy.

"I don't think so," Bachmann answered.

In a comeback some may find too harsh, unfair and gratuitous, Griffin asked, "Congresswoman Bachmann, were you born a bigot or did you, like, grow into it?"

Griffin told Conan she was disturbed by Bachmann's response. "That's a good question. I'm gonna have to get back to ya," Bachmann said.

Meanwhile, Gawker.com notes that Bachmann opened a speech on the campaign trail this morning by wishing Elvis Presley a a happy birthday.

Thing is, today is the anniversary of Elvi's death. He Kind died on Aug. 16, 1977. His birthday is Jan. 8.
