Olivia Newton-John to receive award at Longwood Gardens
Olivia Newton-John and her husband John Easterling will be given an award Tuesday at Longwood gardens for their work on behalf of Amazon Rainforest conservation.
Non-profit water conservation research center Stroud Water Research Center will honor Grease star Olivia Newton-John and her husband, eco-entrepreneu John Easterling's environmental activism with the Stroud Award of Freshwater Excellence Tuesday at the center's fundraiser gala, The Water's Edge" at Longwood Gardens, 1001 Longwood Rd., in Kennett Square.

The award, which recognizes work done toward "the conservation and protection of fresh water" is being given to Newton-John and Easterling for their extensive work on behalf of Amazon Rainforest conservation.
Easterling is the founder and owner of the Amazon Herb Company which makes products from the natural ingredients found in the Amazon rainforest and provides support to many indigenous communities in the Amazon.
Newton-John and Easterling married in the summer of 2008 in two separate ceremonies. The first was held June 21 on a mountaintop outside of Peru. Nine days later, they held beachfront wedding ceremony in Florida's Jupiter Island.
