With apologies: earlier reports that Ellen DeGeneres was making an appearance at a Rite Aid store in Bryn Mawr are inaccurate:

Ellen is sending a camera crew to the store for footage she'll play on her talk show.

The crew and some sort of MC person will be there beginning at 5 p.m., on while the actual shooting will take place between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.

There is word Ellen may greet fans via live video linkup.

The event is a tie-in with Proctor & Gamble -- Ellen is the face of Covergirl/Oil of Olay products.

If you plan to go, the Rite Aid is at 701 West Lancaster Ave. in Bryn Mawr. (For directions, the store's number is 610-527-3603.)
