Wanted: IDs in NE robberies

The Philly police need help identifying the man or men who they say robbed two Northeast cell phone stores last month. Due to similarities in the descriptions, cops believe the same man may be responsible for both.

A man walked into a Metro PCS store at 6820 Bustleton Avenue on July 22, brandished a gun and demanded cash. He made off with $100. He was described as a black male, 50-60 years old, 5'11'', 230 pounds with short dark hair. He was wearing a tan baseball cap and burgundy polo shirt.

On July 28 a robber hit a Metro PCS store at 813 Adams Avenue, this time snagging $500 to $700. That suspect is described as a 45 to 55-year-old black male, 5'10''-5'11, 230 pounds. He wore a blue short-sleeved Dickie shirt, blue pants, a blue cap and glasses.
