Maurice Watson, a senior guard from Boys' Latin, has orally commited to Boston University.
The 5-foot-10, 158-pound Watson, who averaged 21.9 points per game last season, also considered La Salle, Virginia, Niagara, and Hofstra.
He had 19 scholarship offers.

Saturday's football opener between North Penn and La Salle (6 p.m. at Plymouth Whitemarsh) will be televised live on The Comast Network (Channel 8 in Philadelphia and Eastern Montgomery County).
76ers announcer Marc Zumoff will call the action, with former Eagle Kevin Riley providing the commentary.

A FEW PICS FROM LA SALLE'S MONDAY PRACTICE
With its practice field hit hard by Tropical Storm Irene, La Salle moved Monday evening's scrimmage to Plymouth Whitemarsh's turf field.
In a rematch of last year's PIAA Class AAAA state semifinal, La Salle will play North Penn 6 p.m. Saturday at PW.

Former Northeat High wideout Je'Ron Stokes is no longer playing for the University of Michigan.
Stokes (Class of 2009) played 11 games in 2010, catching one pass for 11 yards. In six games in 2009, he caught two passes for 16 yards.

West Catholic, the defending PIAA Class AA state champion, turned back host George Washington, 3-0, in a Saturday morning scrimmage.
The Burrs will open the season next Saturday (12 p.m.) versus Rroman Catholic at Maxwell Field in Wildwood, N.J. The Cahillites won, 23-14, last year.
The Eagles will take on Chestnut Hill Academy next Saturday (6 p.m.) at Northeast High's Charlie Martin Memorial Stadium.
