On Tuesday in Mechanicsburg, Bonner-Prenergast lost a second appeal to the PIAA to have Sonkarly Winpea, a transfer from Upper Darby, cleared to play football.

After an hour-and-a-half hearing, Friars coach Greg Bernhardt said the PIAA board, made up of 10 or so, convened and then, after meeting "for only seven or eight minutes," announced their decision.

"I thought it was a waste of time for us to go up there," Bernhardt said "It seemed like they didn't even put any time into it."
