Neshaminy senior running back D'Andre Pollard has committed to play at Villanova, becoming the third area player to do so in the last week.

Last season, the 5-foot-7, 170-pounder carried 328 times for 2,929 yards and 39 touchdowns while helping lead the Redskins to a 13-2 record and the PIAA District 1 Class AAAA championship.

Villanova also received recent commitments from Archbishop Wood running back Jarrett McClenton and West Chester Henderson defensive lineman Bryan White.

In last season's District 1 final against North Penn, Pollard ignited a 42-7 romp by carrying 25 times for 242 yards and four scores.

He earned Inquirer first-team all-Southeastern Pennsylvania honors in the squad's run to the state semifinals.
