Cadinal O'Hara's Steve Weyler, a strong-legged placekicker and punter, has committed to play his college football at nearby Villanova.

The 5-foot-11, 170-pound senior, who has handled the placekicking duties for the Lions the last three seasons, also received interest from Army, Harvard, Miami, and Stanford.

Weyler earned first-team all-Catholic League Class AAA honors as a placekicker last season. He was a second-team punter.
