Imhotep Charter's Aaron Ruff, a 6-foot-4, 290-pound junior offensive lineman, orally committed Thursday to play at Temple.

Last season, he helped the Panthers go 14-1 and advance to the PIAA Class AA state semifinals.

"He's a great student, comes from a very supportive family," Imhotep coach Albie Crosby said.

Ruff, right tackle for Imhotep, is projected as a guard in college. Virginia Tech had also expessed interest in him.
