Hoops: St. Joe's Prep pulls past Carroll

ST. JOSEPH'S PREP 52, ARCHBISHOP CARROLL 46

Trailing by 11 midway through the third quarter, St. Joseph's Prep climbed back in against Archbishop Carroll and rallied for a 52-46 victory in a Catholic League matchup at 17th and Girard.

Senior guard Steve Vasturia (17) and sophomore swingman Chris Clover (16) combined for 33 points for the Hawks. Senior guard Miles Overton contributed 11 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists.

Senior guard Yosef Yacob spurred the Patriots, who were hurt by two turnovers in the last 38 seconds, with 18 points.
