Archbishop Wood's Nick Arcidiacono, a 6-foot-4, 245-pound junior offensive lineman for Archbishop Wood, will announce his college commitment at 3 p.m. Thursday in a press conference at the school's gymnasium.
Last season, Arcidiacono, an offensive tackle and defensive end, helped the Vikings go 14-1 and claim the PIAA Class AAA state championship.
His eldest brother, Mark, is a 6-4, 283-pound junior redshirt guard at Penn State. Brother Brandon, a 6-5, 250-pound senior center for Wood, is headed to Rutgers. Both were Inquirer first-team all-Southeastern Pennsylvania selections.
Nick Arcidiacono has 10-plus scholarship offers, including Temple, Rutgers, Boston College, Bowling Green and Buffalo.
