FOOTBALL: Week 1 matchup for St. Joe's Prep next season

St. Joseph's Prep, in the start of the post-Skyler Mornhinweg era, will open the 2012 season with a nonleague contest versus Abington at Stephen A. Schwarzman Stadium.
Last year, the Hawks opened against a Canadian squad; the Galloping Ghosts played Central Bucks East.
The Prep will host Gonzaga College High, of Washington, D.C., in Week 2; it will visit North Penn in Week 3.
The Hawks, 7-4 overall and 2-2 in Catholic League Class AAAA action last season, are in the process of trying to find a Week 5 opponent.
