Eagles training camp 2013: Michael Vick says he needs to be cautious, and play all out, in a span of two minutes

In a span of literally less than two minutes today, Michael Vick said that he needed to be cautious, and followed that up by saying that he thought he needed to play all out.

Cautious Vick:

"Hopefully, I'll be able to maintain the hits with the extra weight that I've put on... I'm taking my vitamins, feeding my body calcium, so just trying to do things that will give me an edge. Will that allow me to take certain hits? I don't know. I have to protect myself, and that's the most important [thing]. I have to be cautious."

Non-cautious Vick:

"I think you take on a certain mindset that you gotta play the game all out and give it everything that you got," said Vick. "When you go into a football game not wanting to get hurt, trying not to get hurt, I doesn't allow you to play the way that you want to play. I've had seasons where I just went all out and I played as hard as I could. When I ran for 1000 yards, I played all 16 games. I played with a different mindset. It's just all about your mindset, and what you set out to do, and not holding anything back."

Cautious Vick or non-cautious Vick, just in case, better keep warm, Nick.
