Ticket sold at Wawa in Montco wins $800K lotto jackpot

Several Philadelphia-area lottery players have won big prizes in recent Pennsylvania Lottery games.

A ticket sold at a Wawa in Montgomery County hit an $800,000 jackpot, one of several recent big prizes won by Philadelphia-area lottery players.

The lucky Montgomery County ticket matched all five numbers drawn in the Nov. 23 Cash 5 game (3, 4, 14, 18 and 24) to win the $800,000 top prize.

That ticket was sold at the Wawa at 1145 Virginia Ave. in Fort Washington, which earns a $5,000 bonus for selling the winner, lottery officials said.
