The next chapter in the Star Wars saga finally has a name.

Disney announced on Monday morning that Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be the next chapter in their new trilogy, which takes place approximately 30 years after the events of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.

The Last Jedi is written and directed by Rian Johnson, who has posted behind-the-scenes photos from the set on his Tumblr blog

Johnson said in a recent interview with USA Today that the film will explore Rey's connection with luke, and the motivations of fellow heroes Fin and Poe.

“I wanted to know more about each of them, and that doesn’t just mean information or backstory,” Johnson said. “Figure out what’s the most difficult thing each of them could be challenged with now — let’s throw that at them and dig into what really makes them tick by seeing how they handle that.”

The Last Jedi is scheduled for release Dec. 15, 2017.
