Heroin arrests in Atlantic City

Tips from the public lead to the arrest of three people in Atlantic City who were allegedly dealing heroin, police announced Monday.

On Friday, Jonathan Porter, 26, of Trenton and Romeo Ramone, 77, of Atlantic City, were charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and other related crimes. Jessica Maiorano, 29, of Atlantic City, was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

According to police, Porter and Maiornao were dealing heroin from the beach block of Ocean Avenue. Ramone was found to be dealing the drug in front of the Atlantic City Library.

Both Porter and Maiorano had outstanding warrants and were remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility. Ramone was released on a summons charge pending a future court date.
