Man, 23, dies after shooting in Frankford

A 23-year-old man has died after being shot in Frankford earlier this week, police said Thursday.

About 9:15 p.m. Tuesday, police, responding to a shooting, found Harold Aiken suffering from gunshot wounds to his head and hand on the 2000 block of Bridge Street.

Aiken, who lived a few blocks away on the 2100 block of Granite Street, was rushed by police to Aria Health-Torresdale Campus. He died there at 4:59 p.m. Wednesday, police said.

No arrest has been reported and the motive for the shooting was not known.
