Police in Bristol Borough are looking for a Nissan minivan, similar to the one in the photograph, that has front end damage including a missing headlight assembly and splash shield in connection with a fatal hit-and-run.

Police in Bristol, Bucks County, are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash late Friday night that killed a 50-year-old woman who was crossing a street.

The victim, identified as Donna Anderson, of Bristol Township, was in the crosswalk of U.S. Route 13,  heading from Beaver Street to Beaver Dam Road, at about 11:50 p.m., when she was struck and killed by a vehicle traveling south on Route 13, police said.

The vehicle, believed to be a dark-colored 2004-2009 Nissan Quest minivan, continued south, then turned west onto Bath Road, police said Saturday. It should have front-end damage and is missing a headlight.

Bristol Borough Police Chief Steven Henry told reporters at the scene: "It would make everybody's life, including his, much easier and also put some closure to the family [if the driver came forward]. It's a tragic event, people make mistakes. However one way or the other, we're going to have a resolution to this."
