In what is becoming a solemn trend, the Benjamin Franklin Bridge will again glow blue Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to honor the three police officers slain in Baton Rouge, La.
The Delaware River Port Authority had the bridge lit in blue last week in honor of the five police officers shot to death in Dallas, and prior to that featured rainbow lighting in solidarity with the victims of a mass shooting at a gay nightclub in Orlando.

Other bridges and buildings have also been using blue lights to honor the slain officers.
After the police tribute, the bridge will shine in red, white and blue for the Democratic National Convention, which will be held in Philadelphia July 25 to 28.
