1 hospitalized after car firebombed in North Philly

One person was hospitalized after a vehicle was apparently firebombed early Thursday morning in North Philadelphia.

The incident happened just before 5:30 a.m. near Cleveland and Dauphin Streets, according to the Philadelphia Fire Department.

A car caught fire and one occupant was taken to a hospital. The victim's condition wasn't immediately available.

The blaze was being investigated as a firebombing, the fire department said.

No other information was immediately available.
