Robert Cleveland scored three rushing touchdowns as Willingboro beat Lawrence, 26-8, in a West Jersey Football League Patriot Division game Saturday.
Cleveland began the scoring with a 20-yard touchdown run in the first quarter.
After Lawrence scored on a safety when a Chimeras snap went out of the end zone, Willingboro (5-3 overall, 2-2 Patriot) began to pile on points in the second quarter. Anthony Robbins threw a 19-yard touchdown pass to Antonio Pernell, and Cleveland scored his second touchdown, a 51-yard run, to give the Chimeras a 20-2 lead at halftime.
Semei Mitchell answered for Lawrence in the third quarter with a 4-yard touchdown run, but Cleveland capped the scoring in the fourth quarter on a 3-yard run.
Cleveland rushed for 163 yards on 24 carries. Pernell caught four passes for 31 yards, and fellow wide receiver Rahajan Sams had two receptions for 86 yards.
With the win, the Chimeras clinched a berth in the South Jersey Group 2 tournament. Willingboro enters the tournament on a four-game winning streak.
